I purchased this drill to do some heavy concrete drilling. I had to drill over 25 3/8 inch holes in concrete floor. This drill is fantastic, it worked just as advertised. Its a very good product.
This is a powerful, solid hammer drill. It is a great drill and of typical Bosch quality. I would highly recommend this drill to anyone.
I recently used my new Bosch hammer drill to hang numerous wood window valences on masonry walls in a large church rectory. The tool preformed perfecrly. I expect many years of service based on the history of a corded Bosch drill I have used for over 20 years.
This is the best drill I have ever used for concrete. One hole after another until the bit is dull. I bought it refurbished, and other than a sticker saying "factory refurbished" I couldn't tell it from new.
It works fine, but I worry that it will break. This is a great hammer-drill. Both grips are excellent, and the front one is easy to adjust to different angles. the depth gauge is plastic, and flimsy. Each has a separate place in the case and the drill won't fit in the case fully assembled. The speed and hammer switches are easy to use and feel durable.
taking it in and out of the case is a whole ordeal. It's solidly constructed. Also, 2. Best of all, it works very well, putting holes in brick and concrete walls in literally 1/50 the time it took me with a regular (non-hammer) drill before. It goes through masonry like butter. My only complaints are that: 1. You have to remove the depth gauge and then remove the front grip.
The upside of this is that the case is relatively compact, but it's an inconvenience all the same.
